The best frosting I have made! Lessened the sugar to 2 cups to preserve the cream cheese taste more. Works very well with Beer Bread baked with 4 teaspoons of cinnamon. Better than any store-bought cinnamon roll!!! DH loves it, and is still begging for more!

Very good :) I made it in my Kitchen Aid mixer and the more you beat it the fluffier and yummier it becomes.....so if you like a thicker frosting dont whip it very long... Ours was to go on top of the Buttermilk Pound Cake rom this site so we whipped it really really well and just dolloped a spoonful on top of the cake as if it were cool whip..YUUMMMMMM YUM! Perfect.

Perfect! Not too sweet. I forgot to add the vanilla extract but it still turned out delicious.

I am very picky about my frosting, but I heard this went great with Pumpkin Cake III (Submitted by Sue Case). I tried it...and wow. I couldn't stop getting little spoonfuls of it. The only thing I will say is that I didn't need to use all the confectioners sugar.

I creamed the cream cheese and butter in the food processor, added the vanilla, then added the powdered sugar. This recipe is easy in the food processor. I let it set in the refrigerator for an hour before using it on my cake and it turned out beautiful.

This was really good! The recommended amount of confectioners sugar was too sweet for my taste. I made 2 batches of this frosting and reduced the sugar in half for the next batch. It was so much better! I also used tofu imitation cream cheese for one of my batches because a few people in my family are lactose intolerant and the frosting still came out delicious.

Very tasty and easy to make. I can't imagine using four cups of sugar, though; I used two cups and that was plenty sweet, even for my kids.

Amazing!!! i used a teaspoon and a dash of vanilla. i also had to substitute brown sugar for confectioners sugar. Resulted in light mocha color. looks delish, tastes even better. thank you so much for posting! i will definitely use this one again and again. *made fore carrot cake III (hope i have enough left for frosting after i taste and re-taste it ;)). which i just realized i forgot to add nutmeg and salt to. will update with reviews from co-workers (Christmas pot luck)

This is good and simple. I like the fact that this recipe could be made so quickly, and had 10 times the cream cheese flavor that you find in those pre-made canisters.

This was just ok. I, like others, didn't have to use the whole 4 cups of sugar cuz it came out sweet enough after 2. Not a bad recipe, but also not one I would make again. I'm definitely gunna look for a better one.
