Very easy, very tangy, and just sweet enough for my taste - I don't really like buttercream, etc, so this is my kind of frosting! Just delicious.

Very good and easy to make. I doubled the vanilla extract as many recommended. I halved the recipes to frost one loaf of Pumpkin Gingerbread (recipe also on this site). Delicious!

Creamy cream cheese goodness!!!! I was eating it by the spoonful... Followed the advice of others, and using only one pkg of cream cheese, added 2 cups powdered sugar and 1/4 c butter. Simply amazing.

Just perfect for a 9x9 carrot cake for my mom's birthday. Her and her sister (big carrot cake fans) raved about the easy homemade frosting. A very thick consistency makes it seem super decadent, but it wasn't hard to frost and didn't rip at the cake. My favorite part--tasting it off the beaters!

Wonderful! I usually half this and have plenty. Taste a little of the frosting as you add the sugar until it is to your liking. I usually don't add quite as much of the sugar (although it would still be fantastic with the full amount). I just really love the cream cheese taste. My family loves it on a banana cake.

Great recipe, very easy to pipe even with just a Ziploc bag. If you want your frosting to be white make sure you don't use a really yellow butter!

YUM! You can taste the cream cheese in this one! I used it to frost a pumpkin cake. Half of this recipe was enough for a 9x13 cake. Consistency was pretty soft unless you refrigerated it for a while.

I want to give it 4 1/2 stars since I changed it up. Only used 1 package cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, used 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 cups of the powdered sugar. It turned out wonderfully.

Just like my grandma makes! Perfect cream cheese frosting every time. Tip: If you want to use this to frost cupcakes bakery-style, add lots more powdered sugar until it's more stiff so that it can set. Otherwise, it will look droopy on your cupcakes. To balance out the sweetness, add a pinch of salt as you mix in the extra powdered sugar.

This was really good. I accidently added only 1 thing of cream cheese instead of two but it tasted really good still. All the guest loved it and was the one dessert that went the fastest.
