This bread is delicious and made my home smell like it was Christmas when it was baking. The combination of cranberries, orange zest/juice, spices and pecans makes this spectacular. I would add more cranberries next time since they are very sparse throughout the bread. That might make it more wet though so I would have to test it out. I left out the raisins for personal preference. Great bread I will most definitely make again.

Delicious bread!!! I love the orange flavor with the cranberries and the crunchy streusel topping. Top that with the fact that this bread only has much less butter than most quick bread recipes, and it's a winner!

I have made this so many times. Whenever I am at the store with my mom I put 2-3 bags of cranberries in the cart. My whole family LOVES this bread, and even the ones who HATE cranberries. It tastes really good exactly as the recipe says, but making it so many times, I have added some tweaks just to make it my own. I add ONLY butter, add about a tablespoon or so of almond extract, add a lot more cranberries, add a lot more spices, 1tsp of allspice, 1 T or so of nutmeg, 1 T or so of ginger, 1tsp of cinnamon, occasionally I add about a 1/2 cup of sour cream or vanilla yogurt, adds a dimension, I dont ever add raisins, a bit more sugar because I add so many cranberries, and for the topping I add crushed almonds, 1/4 cup of pecans, less flour, and almond extract and the same spices I used in the bread. My siblings devour a loaf in 15 minutes FLAT.

This had a great flavor but a little on the dry side and not as moist as I had hoped.

My son and I made this for his preschool teachers and it was a huge hit. Two of them asked for the recipe. I substituted walnuts for the pecans and cardamom for the nutmeg and I used fresh cranberries. We will definitely come back to this recipe, it is the best cranberry bread recipe I have ever tried! Thank you for the great recipe.

Very easy to make and delicious. My only sub was to use dried cranberries soaked in triple sec instead of fresh cranberries. I think this would also be good with dried tart cherries...

While this bread is delicious, I think it would be just as good with half the streusel topping. As it is, it's very crumbly...tasty, though.

According to my husband, this is the best cranberry bread EVER! I left out the raisins and used a 12oz. bag of cranberries. And I left out the orange peel since I didn't have any oranges. The streusel topping is what makes the bead - yum!

Delicious bread - I love the streusel topping. I used 1 & 1/2 c. of chopped pecans and once I had it layered I took a knife and swirled it in. I left out the raisins and used a 12 oz. bag of fresh cranberries. The bread was very moist and had a wonderful touch of orange flavor.
