This cranberry sauce was excellent! I also added Grand Marnier as per earlier reviews, but I only added 1/8 cup. Very tasty, everyone loved it at Christmas dinner.

This was very easy to make. A very good substitute for the ol' can of sauce! I will make one change next time...it was a little tart for my family's taste. Instead of using one cup sugar use 1 and a half. My friend used this recipe too and that change made it turn out better.

Fantastic results! Although, I must say, I ventured down the route of the cabernet version by adding 1/2 cup of red wine and also added 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Turned out to be the best cranberry sauce ever.

I'm glad I came across this recipe. I needed to find something that would be fast and great tasting. I only had half a bag of cranberries left and so I scaled the recipe down. I added some orange zest, 1 tbs. orange Marmelade and about 6 whole cloves. The result was delicious. Thanks Toni.

This is perfect cranberry sauce! Easy and tasty! I love it as is, or for a special kick, I use just 3/4 c of orange juice and add 1/4 c Grand Marinier (my family gave rave reviews last Thanksgiving). My favorite uses are as a side at Thanksgiving, on top of turkey burgers, or mixed in with my morning oatmeal. It's excellent. Thanks for the recipe!

I have never tried crandberry sauce before and this Thanksgiving I was asked to bring it to the family gathering. HUGE hit! I loved it! I used it as jelly for turkey sandwhiches with the leftover turkey. I added on 1/2 cup OJ, and a couple cinnamon sticks. YUMMY!

5 Stars for this cranberry sauce! I will NEVER buy canned again, it's just that good. This was super easy, and set up just like the jelled canned version, only tastes 100% better! The orange juice, rather than water like other recipes, really makes the difference here. Per other reviews, I made in advance on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to let the flavors blend together. My mother in law was so impressed with this, she went home with the recipe...and that's saying a LOT! My husband was licking it off the spoon right out of the pan! The cranberries do "pop" as they soften, and I used my potato masher to mash them but left some of the berries only half mashed to give it a good texture. Perfect! Thanks so much for this recipe, I will continue to use it and make people think I slaved! :)

Excellent, however I made it low carb by replacing the sugar with splenda, a little less then sugar. I didn't have orange juice so I used water and a shot of lime instead and we loved it! It still thickened with the splenda, great low carb alternative.

I've never attempted making this homemade,, however, because of my war on High Fructose Corn syrup in every canned product... This will become my traditional recipe for the Holidays. I also incorporated it to our traditional gelatin salad recipe.. it was a big hit with the family!

This is the first time I'd ever made cranberry sauce as only two people in my family like it. This turned out great and everyone liked it saying "I can't believe I actually like this cranberry sauce". Will make again next year!

This was my first attempt to make cranberry sauce. It was amazingly simple and delicious. I spent only 15 minutes in front of the stove! I am now wondering why ever bothered to eat canned cranberry sauce. Some reviewers have said it was too runny. So I cut the orange juice down to 1/2 a cup. However, I soon found it needed more liquid. I added another 1/4 cup to thin it out. So personally, I would put the whole cup of juice into the sauce at the start, and then keep it on the heat until it reaches the desired consistency.
