This was the first homemade cranberry sauce I've ever made, overall the taste was good, I just thought it needed a bit more sweetness. I will use the grand mariener sauce next time, and there will definetly be a next time! Thanks for the recipe.

I don't like the canned sauce, but this is great. I added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon & a sprinkle of brown sugar. The cranberries do pop, but just for the first couple minutes. I cooked mine for about 20 minutes. I think as long as you cook somewhere between 10-20 minutes you will be okay. I also mashed mine with the back of my wooden spoon while cooking. Very easy to make. Thank you for a great recipe.

Easy, fragrant, gorgeous and flavorful. I added the zest of an orange while simmering and stirred in a little cinnamon and nutmeg after I poured it into a bowl to cool. DELICIOUS!

My mom has always made her cranberry sauce with water and sugar, and it was good, but last year I tried this recipe which simply replaces the water with orange juice. I used fresh orange juice and added a bit of orange zest, and it was to die for! I'll never go back!

I embarassed that I ever bought canned cranberry juice. Made it just as the recipe called for. Might do 1/2 OJ and 1/2 water next time, and I cooked it for maybe 15 minutes for a thicker sauce as suggested in other reviews. I made it ahead of time for Thanksgiving, so put it in the freezer until then. Never again will I buy the canned stuff.

This was so nice and simple. I did add 1/4 tsp of cinnamon to the mixture. Nice mix of tangy and sweet. The orange juice didn't overpower the cranberries. Gelled up nicely.

This was so easy! I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and a bit less than 1/2 cup of white, and 1/2 cup of oj. It turned out excellent, tart but perfect. It gelled perfectly too.

I made this for Thanksgiving 2007. My sister and several other members of the family loved it. I couldn't get past the orange juice taste. It seemed to overpower the cranberry flavor.

I made this to satisfy some guests for Thanksgiving and they liked them but we had so much food that there was a lot left over. I added some things with it later in a blender, don't remember what exactly, olive oil was a big one, and made salad dressing. It's healthier than store bought and my kids love it!!
