I had never made cranberry sauce before, always used canned, but never again! My husband and mother in law loved this and they like cranberry sauce. My daughter hates the canned stuff but said this was delish! I took the leftover sauce and mixed it with cream cheese (my hubby's idea) for turkey sandwiches and they went nuts! Thanks for a great recipe.

Super simple and delicious. I changed it slightly and instead of white sugar, I used sugar in the raw and a little bit of cinnamon. Yummy!

This is very similar to the recipe I have used for a long time. Instead of orange juice I use water pretty much follow the directions given. I prefer a softer version of cranberry sauce and by cooking less time[8-10 mins] I have a softer sauce. Less pectin is released and for my tastes, this is just perfect! Love it on leftover turkey [open-faced] sandwiches. Once I made fresh cranberry sauce, I decided it definitely has a much better taste and we prefer that.

Hard to rate this one. I personally dont like cranberry sauce. Made this for thanksgiving dinner. My very honest sister said it was a lil bitter. I told her i used orange juice and she thought that maybe that caused the bitterness. Oh well. Guess i will give it a 4.

I'm not a big fan of cranberry sauce, but I made this anyway for Thanksgiving. It was quite good. It's a keeper. Thanks!

Not the absolute best cranberry sauce I have ever made but it was sure the easiest. It was very good, and for the effort you probably can't beat it.

I have never thought about making my own cranberry sauce, always just used the cans. But this quick and easy recipe has changed my mind! It tased so much better than the canned, granted the consistancy is a lot different so if you don't like chunks then it probably isn't for you. But I loved it and will be making it every Thanksgiving from here on out!

I normally do not care for cranberry sauce but I love this recipe! I ended up using half fresh orange juice and half apple juice, due to my lack of oranges in the house. Added some orange zest and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Yum! I also mashed it in a sieve when it had cooled a bit. I just haven't graduated to whole cranberry sauce. This technique worked great as it made the sauce a nice balance between whole cranberry sauce and jellied cranberry sauce.

So easy that I agree with others- no need to buy the canned stuff again. I added 1/4 tsp. cinnamon which I thought was a nice touch. I simmered for about 12 min. Don't obsess over the time- just keep simmering and stir every couple of minutes until they are the consistency you like. I recommend making the day before and refrigerating overnight. They set up nicely this way.

This was good. I had to cook it twice and it was still a bit runny. Followed suggestions and used half brown sugar and then added cinnamon during the second boiling I did of it. Not much was eaten but no one really touched the canned stuff either.

This turned out great! I only gave it four stars though because I had to follow other reviewer suggestions and cut the orange juice in half. It turned out perfect this way.

This was a hit at my house on Thanksgiving! I don't like cranberry sauce and I even liked it! My grandparents absolutely loved it and I will definitely use again next year.

This cranberry sauce is fabulous. I have never attempted making my own and I will never go back to store bought after trying this. It was so easy to make. I added 1/4 tsp cinnamon and the zest of 1 orange, I cooked it for 25 - 30 minutes to make it thicker.

I have never tried cranberry sauce and I meant to the Thanksgiving but I had so much food I didn't get around to it. But, my cranberry sauce loving husband said it was much better than the canned stuff and it got gobbled right up so I'm assuming it was wonderful, lol. Thanks for a great recipe.
