This is an OK cranberry sauce recipe that I use as a basis for my sauce. I always add ginger to spice it up.

Very good flavors (with 50/50 OJ and water and 50/50 white and brown sugar), but the consistency was still a bit runny after cooling thoroughly. I cooked it around 15 minutes. Will try cooking longer and smashing the berries more next time.

This recipe is delicious! I will never buy canned cranberries again. It is such a beautiful colour when sitting on the table too! I did add about 1 tsp of zested orange! Thanks!

I love this simple but elegant recipe. The sauce was so perfert that I made another batch and put in decorative jars to give as gifts. I recommend using slightly less orange juice if you want the sauce thicker. But not to worry, surprise of all surprises, I mixed up a vodka martini using some of the extra juice from this sauce. Delicious!

Very good - and easy! I don't know why anyone would serve that disgusting canned stuff after seeing how easy it is to make the real thing!

I read the massive reviews and agree with one reviewer...try the provided recipe first before making any adjustments. I added 1/8 tsp cinnamon this time around (as some reviewers had suggested) and actually prefer it without. The recipe as it stands is excellent and deserves 5 stars. So if it is your first time making it, I agree with others that try the original recipe first! My sauce was all gobbled up and everybody raved!

I don't like cranberry sauce, but this was pretty yummy. Doesn't even compare to serving it out of a can. Every time I make this, I have to hand out the recipe, everyone loves it. It's also insanely easy to make.

We made this again this year, and it helps to reduce the sugar and cut a little of the OJ with water. My boys love stirring the cranberries and watching them POP! It's a boy thing. *This is definitely a FUN WAY for Moms and their sons to spend time together in the kitchen!!!!
