I have used a recipe like this for a few years and it is quite tasty. You can also add a splash of red wine to this to give an extra zip. The alcohal cooks off, and gives a great flavor.

Ilove this easy, yummy recipe! I have made this recipe for the last couple of years for the holidays and it is so much better than store bought cranberry sauce. You do need to give it plenty of time to set though and it will still be a little syrupy but its fantastic! I make it exactly as the directons say too and wouldn't change a thing. I never liked cranberry sauce until tasting this version.

Switched 1/2 brown sugar for the white sugar. It makes a nice, basic cranberry sauce.

Tasty and easy. Used half OJ and half water. Also added a pinch of each: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Next time will try half white and half brown sugar.

I'm really not a cranberry person and this was almost too tart for me. However it was pretty good. I decided last minute for Thanksgiving to add Cheese-Cake flavored pudding, it was super yummy for me after that. It helped calm the tart taste down and it was like a Cranberry Cheese Cake.

This is the best cranberry sauce I have ever tasted. Be warned, it needs to sit for quite a while before serving to solidify - I'd say at least half an hour after removing from heat.

Cranberries have never tasted so good. Like some of the reviews said, I did half white and half brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon. My daughter couldn't get enough of them. She's going to a TG party next week and is bringing cranberries! Five+ in my book!

I added some (less then a 1/4 cup) raspberries for a little something different. I did find it very sweet. But SO flavourful! Next time I'll cut down the sugar, there seems to be plenty in the orange juice!

Ok...I'm a novice...made these and they came out a bit crunchy. Mom took them home and cooked them longer. She couldn't stop raving about them. I changed nothing in the recipe.

Great recipe! I have played around with it as others have suggested... substituting some brown sugar for the white, adding some cinnamon, etc. It's been good every time. Perfect addition to the Thanksgiving table!
