First time to make biscotti. This is a real tasty and easy recipe. The pistachio with cranberry are so good together. Make it for yourself or for gifts. It ships well, too.

i use this a base and put whatever fruit and nut combination I am in the mood for. My house and neighbors love when I make this. I do always chocolate coat the bottom for some added goodness!

I took these biscotti to work and they went like hot cakes. Everyone loved them! The batter is super sticky. To help this, I put the batter in a fridge for a few minutes before I tried to handle it. I also wet my hands with water before I molded the loaves. I sliced my first loaf while it was too warm and it crumbled a bit.Make sure you wait at least 15 minutes before you try to slice the loaves. Use a very sharp knife and push... don't saw! MOST IMPORTANT.... double or even triple the recipe! These little guys go fast and they freeze well. I loved this recipe and will be making again real soon!

I made these for a cookie exchange last year and they were a big hit! This year I'm making them for another cookie exchange except I've decided to use dried cherries in place of cranberries and I added white chocolate chips. Very pretty and festive looking cookies! And they're delicious!!

So tasty! I used macadamia nuts since I had them in the fridge. I also used about 1/4 cup more flour and a pich more baking powder. Think I cut them big as they took longer the second bake but they were worth it. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I never imagined that biscotti would be easy to make. But, this recipe is very simple and fool-proof. I used whole wheat pastry flour, and chopped the pistachios. I also had some orange oil on hand, so I added a dash. They turned out delicious!

This is a great Biscotti recipe! Just the right amounts of cranberry and pistachio. I shorten the second baking time by a minute or so for a softer biscotti.

FANTASTIC...this was very easy and so tasty. I followed some other reviews and added 1/2 tsp. orange extract. I used 1 cup of slivered almonds that I crushed by hand and 1 cup of cranberries which I chopped to make the biscotti easier to cut. Worked like a charm. I got 32 clean slices. The dough was sticky but I didn't touch it with my hands, instead I used a silicon spatula to shape it which worked really well. I will be making this again for sure.

Love this recipe. Made them last year and they are now a yearly "must". They are delicous and pretty on a plate. They make a wonderful addition to any holiday gift! Follow the recipe as is and you will not be disappointed. Note: if you go and change many of the ingredients you are not reviewing the original!

This recipe is absolutely amazing! I couldn't find unsalted pistachios so I added an extra cup of cranberries and orange zest and drizzled with white chocolate. I did have to increase the first baking time by 5 minutes. I am off to try another variation!

Delicious!!!! Definitely leave out the salt if you use the salted pistachios- and definitely add more pistachios and cranberries. Also- you may as well double it now, or you will have to make more when everyone eats all of them so quickly.

This is a great basic biscotti recipe for mixing it around a bit. I doubled the batter because I needed more to give them out as gifts. I added 2 tsp. of vanilla extract and 2 tsp. of rum extract. It added to the holiday flavor of cranberry and pistachios. I also made them 4" in height to fit perfectly in my holiday cookie boxes. Very yummy, thank you.

The taste of these was excellent and a friend said they were the best biscotti she ever tasted. A few comments as I did follow the recipe exactly> 1) I think the texture was more like a cookie than drier like biscotti. 2) I also am not sure how they came out with 36 servings, I was thinking more like the big, thin biscotti you get at the coffee houses and came up with maybe 20. 3) I had operational issues where they seemed to crumble when I sliced them. 4) I saw this recipe somewhere else and drizzled melted chocolate chips over them per that recipe, which was a lovely addition. I will try this again.

Wonderful flavour super easy and the only reason I gave it a 4 * is because I ended cooking another 10 minutes on top of the 8 minutes. Drizzled with dark and milk chocolate(Didn't have white) and plain would be just as good!

This is the base recipe I always use, then I add extras depending on what's available--drizzle chocolate, different nuts, etc. Very good biscotti!

I love this recipe! My modifications are to use an extra egg yolk and 1/4 tsp of orange flavoring in the dough. I then glaze the logs with the left-over egg white and sprinkle with sugar.
