I made this for a brunch last weekend, doubled the ingredient amounts because of the increased headcount and there wasn't even so much as a piece of green or a cranberry left over. I followed the recipe to the letter and had the luxury of using some pears out of our own backyard. Fabulous! I'm planning to use this salad both at Thanksgiving and Christmas, especially. The red of the cranberries, the greens and the white of the pears will look particularly pretty at a Christmas table.

I just took this to a BBQ for Labor Day and it was a hit! Even family members that don't like this type of salad loved it and went back for seconds. The dressing was so good yet so easy to make. I will definately be making this again.

Was okay- a bit more involved than I had hoped for in a salad but tasted good.

I just made this for our lunch...cutting amounts in half. It was wonderful. Being at a cabin in the northwoods, apricot nectar is hard to come by, so I substituted honey and balsamic vinegar. Hey, it's the best I could do with what I had on hand. All the other ingredients tasted so well together. I'll make this again and again. It was absolutely delicious. Kim, thanks for sharing this with us.

I love this salad and the dressing. I usually include strawberries in place of pears.

DELICIOUS! I used fresh raspberries instead of dried cranberries (most of my family won't eat the cranberries) and took this for Christmas dinner. It was a HUGE hit - almost everyone went back for seconds.

Loved the apricot nectar in this one; added a bit more sweetness to the dressing. Great salad.
