I loved the cake. Ny husband who does not like cranberries did not. I had a similar cake this Chirstmas at my sister and had everyintention of trying it but found this one here. I brought 1/2 of the remaining cake to work the next day but forgot to give it out until the end of the day. Got rave reviews. I took the rest in today and again the response was great. Someone even offered to pay me to make them one. I followed the recipe and did not chop my cranberries. They were small though, and I can see why if they were large chopping would be required. Use lots of zest. It makes it taste great.

Something went horribly wrong when I tried to make this recipe. I can't give the recipe a low score because its very possible that I forgot something. My loaf didn't rise... HOWEVER, if you enjoy chewy thick-brownie-like texture then it did turn out good. I liked the flavor, but it just didn't rise. I ate it. :P

This bread is very nice. Fantastic flavor and texture. I has some leftover topping from (To Die For Blueberry Muffins) from this site, so I sprinkled it on top before I baked the bread, very good. I think I will try the orange glaze that some of the other reviewers have been using next time I make this.

I love orange cranberry bread, my grandma used to make it when I was younger( out of a box) and it was good. When I found this recipe I thought I would try it out for my Christmas party and it was Fabulous, way better than anything from a box. Now I make it all the time. Thanks

I've been looking for a good Cranberry Orange recipe! Instead of making a loaf, I made muffins out of this recipe. Really tasty!

I really like the taste of this bread; the cranberries, orange and pecan combination.

Excellent loaf, I love orange and cranberry together, so wanted to give this one a try! I opted to change the recipe a bit to reduce some fat/calories and here are the changes I made. First I doubled the recipe since I had a whole bag of fresh cranberries which is 3 cups. The only real changes I made (based on doubling) were to use 2 1/2 c white flour and 1 1/2 c whole wheat, 1/4 cup non hydrogenated margarine and 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1 1/2 cups sugar and one egg with 2 egg whites. Baked as directed and the loaves came out great. I did leave out the pecans as I didn't have any, and even though nuts are somewhat 'healthy', they are also high in fat! So, all in all, loved this one, thanks for sharing!

Was really torn about whether this one should be 5 star. I loved it, but my kids thought the cranberries were to tart. I think it is something I can bake knowing that only the more sophisticated pallates in our family will eat. Which just means more for me! I know that chopping the berries would help with the kid issue, but to me that is what makes this bread great!

This is good and very easy to make-My only suggestions would be to watch this while it bakes-This did not take an hour to cook-45 minutes tops, and chop up the cranberries.

Great moist bread. Super easy. I also sub applesauce for oil and it comes out perfect every time. Only other change is that I am unable to find fresh cranberrys right now (australian summer) so I have used fresh crans packed in water. Can't wait to try with fresh.

Very tasty and easy bread. I made it twice, and the 2nd time didn't have quite enough OJ so I added a big dollop of sour cream to the mix. I liked it even better that way. I also did a glaze on top (butter, conf sugar, splash of milk, 1/2 t of vanilla) that was a nice contrast to the tanginess of the bread. This is a keeper.
