We loved these. Did not make the icing - they were great just as they were. My 2 year old loved these the most out of all the Christmas cookies we made, which was great because they were probably the healthiest cookie on the tray!

These were delicious half an hour out of the oven. A crispy outside. I used sweetened dried cranberries and thought there was too much of it in the recipe.

I couldn't find fresh cranberries so i was forced to use the dried (do they only have fresh cranberries in the fall)? These cookies were great right out the oven but a little dry the next day. Might be because of my cranberry dillema! Will try again in the fall.

I made these about an hour ago and they're almost gone. I used dried cranberries & added a little bit of vanilla, and cooked for 13mins. My husband, who isn't typically a dessert guy, has eaten most of them. They are the perfect blend of tart & sweet. If you want more tart, don't bother with the frosting. They will still be great

I got rave reviews for these cookies! I used dried cranberries instead of fresh because that's all I had on hand, and I added a teaspoon of orange extract to the batter and a teaspoon of orange extract to the icing to kick up the orange flavor. These were soft and chewy and amazing. They'd be delicious without the icing too!

I'm normally a chocolate freak, but this year wanted to add a new cookie to my cookie trays-I make them for sale each year for a church fundraiser. Decided to add these...and oh my gosh they are incredible! followed the recipe EXACTLY, and yes, be careful not to overcook them. Add this to your holiday cookies, youwon't be dissapointed!

YUM! These were soooo good! I used 1 1/3 cup craisins rehydrated overnight in 1/2 to 1 cup fresh squeezed oj. I also used 1 cup pecans instead of walnuts. And instead of the glaze I drizzled with melted white chocolate. I needed them to be firm on top so I could stack & ship them & the hardened white chocolate did the trick. They were beautiful!

I changed up this recipe to make it "Semi-homemade" by using a sugar cookie mix. These are by far the BEST cookies I have ever had! When I make them they don't even last 2 days. Hubby and I eat them all! For that reason I don't make them as much as I would like.

I love the flavor combinations with this cookie. I have many requests to make these. We add white chocolate chips because my four-year-old loves them. They turned out delicious!

I don't usually like fruit cookies but these were very good. They didn't get the "wow" factor I was hoping for, but everyone thought they were good. I followed the recipe exactly.

I made seven types of cookies this Christmas and these were the most raved about! I followed the recipe as written except I used half butter and half Crisco instead of using all butter. (I do that with all cookies.) The food processor works great for chopping up the cranberries. Also, I chilled the dough before baking. It is a fun surprising little cookie worth the effort.

YUM! What a great idea for a cookie! These are soft and delicious. The only problem (sort of) is that they tend to stick together a little when stored. I will definitely be making these every Christmas from now on, but will probably bake them a little longer next time to keep them from adhering to one another. :-)

I have had to make multiple batches because every time I take them to work there is someone who whines because they were gone too fast! This is an unbelievably good cookie. I used dried cranberries instead of fresh but there is still plenty of tart.

I cooked some of these for the holidays this year and they turned out great! I did use some vanilla extract and some extra orange zest. And it didn't make 48, closer to 30. and it doesn't really require the icing. Still a very good cookie!

Well my 2 year old son loved them (he loves all cookies) but me and my husband were not to impressed with them. I used fresh cranberrys and they were to tart. would probably be really good with dried cranberrys. will try again with dried ones.

I've made these cookies a few times now... they have been a big hit with everyone!! i've noticed if you put too much orange zest in the mix the cookies will come out flatter than a pancake! so if you increase the orange zest as others suggest i wouldn't put more than 2 tps... OUTSTANDING ANYWAY YOU DO IT!!
