Awesome cookies! I added 1 tsp vanilla and I also added 1/2 tsp orange zest (but I don't think it is essential, only another level of flavor and a nice touch). This dough is serious dough and gets really thick by the end, but do not be afraid! I dropped the cookies by rounded tablespoon for smaller cookies (the perfect size for a treat), and pressed them slightly flat before baking. 8 minutes in the oven was perfect. The cookies turned out light and chewy, not overwhelmingly sweet and with lots of different and complimentary flavors. Really delicious and a great change from the usual chocolate chip cookies. Thanks!

My comapny loved them. I forgot to toast the pecans and added 1 tsp. vanilla. Would definitely make again. Great for Christmas season

This was a great recipe! The cookie was not too sweet, which offset the sweeter white chocolate chips really well. My husband doesn't even like cranberries, and he liked these! I substituted whole wheat pastry flour for the all-purpose flour. You really couldn't tell the difference.

These cookies are sooo addicting! I did not have the pecans b/c I forgot to buy them. I am sure they add a lot, but the recipe is absolutely wonderful! I also used fresh cranberries and that I think added a fresh flavor.

I started these cookies last night only to find that I didn't have dried cranberries like I thought I did. I made them anyway, only with no cranberries and I used cinnamon chips instead of white chocolate, adding a few more chips to make up for no cranberries. They were spectacular cookies! Not too sweet, nice and chewy with a bit of crisp to the edges, so good! I can't wait to try them with cranberries, I bet they will be wonderful! Great recipe, I will definitely be adding these to my "must bake for Christmas" list!
