The jars turned out great! They look fantastic and will serve wonderfully as co-worker gifts. I haven't baked the recipe yet, but I have enough leftovers too!

I only baked these - didn't do the jar thing. They were delicious! Definitely a permanent part of my christmas cookie list.

Delicious! Made two of our other favorites types of cookies in the same sitting, but this one got eaten up the fastest. Definitely a Christmas keeper.

Everybody loves these (both baked and still in the jar). Last X-mas I mailed a few jars and I took a few jars with me on an 8 hour car ride. The ones that came with me in the car were fine. The ones I mailed were all mixed up (no layers) but still baked and tasted great. Something to keep in mind if you're gifting these. The dough looks a little sloppy and crumbly, but don't worry, they bake up fine!

I made 12 Mason jars full today for Christmas presents for coworkers and friends. After making these beautiful holiday treats in a jar, I decided to sample a recipe and they were sooooo good! My husband (who normally doesn't like white chocolate) loved them. Definately a keeper!

Made this a few years ago for the first time for Xmas presents, and now I have to make it every year or I'm in trouble with my friends! One thing I do is get lined gift bags from Papermart.com, and make labels on my computer. Then I just need to throw all the ingredients in the bag, which is much quicker than layering in a jar.

Deeee-licious! I put one cookie sheet in the oven, and then I ate the rest of the batter. :-O Easy to make for gifts - rave reviews from recipients.

I just made these cookies and they turned out o.k. The only complaint I have are that they flatten out and crumble. I dont know where I went wrong, but they came out burnt around the edges were they had flattened out..

I do these every year for the preschool staff. They all start asking for them by end of November. The cookies are really to die for and they look nice and festive in the jar. Plus, it's fun for the kids to help with.

Freaking awesome, I would also recommend interchanging the white chocolate for butterscotch chips. However, once I made them in the jar, I realized it did not fill it all the way up. = ( but the cookies are great tasting.

These are excellent! My father-in-law is always asking me to make them for him. And the fact that I can put them in a festive jar for gifts is a great idea as well. Thanks so much!

I just made this recipe exactly as stated (and you can "cream" butter and egg it just won't look to good) and it was fantastic. Half the batch is gone - I will be making this jar for gifts! P.S. Does anyone know what a hootycreek is?! :)

very yummy. The butter and egg does appear curdled when mixed, but the cookies turn out wonderful.

These are some of my favorite jar cookies to give as gifts. It makes a pretty jar, and the cookies are fantastic. I use the parchment paper to help them bake evenly.
