This was my forst attempt at cookies in a jar. I found it somewhat difficult to get the ingredient layers straight, but I managed to do it. I used a canning funnel to pour the ingredients in and poured them in slowly, making sure it was level as I went. I made a batch and found that, if you melt the butter first, the cookies mix better. I had to add about two tablespoons of milk to the better as well because it was a little dry. The cookies had amazing flavor, though.

I followed the recipe exactly. My husband loved them. I wasn't too crazy about them, but I'm not a fan of white chocolate.

Got to be the best cookies I have ever tried. The jars came out beautiful. I did put all my flower at the bottom of the jar as suggested. My batter did come out very dry so I had to add milk to it.

I actually made the cookies for my work cookie exchange and they were GREAT! I also added dried blue berries which added something extra to them. They were pretty close to Otis Spunkmeyer's Red White and Blue cookies (with Macadamia nuts though). Loved them!

I just made these as gifts. They look wonderful. I taste-tested them before I made the gifts. They were wonderful and my neighbor's wife said he talked about them for four hours after I delivered some freshly baked cookeis. I renamed them as suggested by other reviewers. Also, you can mix the butter, eggs, and vanilla. It does look funny for a few minutes, but if you are just patient and beat them (medium) for about 5 minutes, they start to fluffen up and look fine. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of white chocolate. It worked fine. Also, I added a litte more pecans. I adjusted bake time to 10-12 minutes (more near 12 minutes). They were perfect! My cookies came out delicious. Yummy!

These were delicious! Because most of my cookie sheets were tied up with other cookies, one batch was baked on stoneware and didn't turn out at all. The rest of the batches were baked on a regular metal cookie sheet and were perfect! Maybe the temp needs to be higher if you are baking with stoneware.

I have made these both in the jar for gifts and as cookies for parties. Both times they have had rave reviews! I made a jar for my Aunt and she called right after they made them asking for the recipie. Great cookies!

this is one of the best recipes i have tried! i did not think i would like them because i am not a big fan of white choc or cranberries, but they were awesome. the only change i made was to bake them in bars (8x8 dish) and i loved them like that...crispy edges and chewy center. will definitely make again!

Delicious cookies! If doubling the recipe, remember to double the ingredients shown in the directions also. Do not overbake -- the cookies will be too crispy if you do.

I loved the name and wanted a new cookie for our Christmas gift basket. We made a double batch and absolutely fell in love with these. If you make them from the jar recipe the egg and butter don't mix well, but it does not affect either the texture or flavor of the cookie. When I just want to make them I cream the butter with the sugars. Definitely have become one of our all time favorites.

Those cookies are delicious! What a great idea for Christmas gifts! I put all the ingredients in Kerr self sealing wide mouth mason jars and found that they fitted perfectly. I used some white and red white chocolate cookies to make the jars look more festive, - they are easy to find around Christmas. I also baked the cookies 10-12 min instead of the 8-10 min to make them even crunchier.

Five stars for sure!! I made the recipe in Mason jars (a very pretty presentation - I added a festive notecard and christmas ribbon). I also baked a double batch to taste test from two jars I had made. They were very yummy. Like other reviewers noted, even if your not a cranberry fan, it's hard not to like these cookies. I used Craisins that I bought in bulk at a warehouse store. I also used a generous 1/2 cup portion for the cranberry and white chocolate chips. This goes on my Christmas keeper list!!
