Two weeks ago I found this recipe and I've made it four times since not counting the time I made it for a gift in a jar. I've taken these to a few family gatherings and they are gone in a minute! I've made it exactly like the recipe everytime except once, I used walnuts instead of pecans because that was all I had and they turned out just as good! Thanks for this one, it's definitley a keeper!

The cookies made from the jar are always flat. If you make the recipe as you would a normal cookie recipe-they come out great. The jars make such a pretty gift, though. I have given them out 3 Christmases straight.

FANTASTIC cookie in a jar recipe. The preparation in terms of layering the ingredients in the jar is always a bit of a chore but the jars look SO pretty and I've gotten more compliments on the cookies than on any other jar recipe I've done. BIG hit at Christmastime!

I received this mix in the jar as a Christmas gift from a a student. I am not a nut fan and have a daughter with nut allergies, so I made them and took to work to "get rid" of them. They were so delicious I nearly ate them all (even with the nuts) before anyone else got them. I plan on making them again without the nuts for my family. YUM!

Great cookies! Used dark chocolate chips and had some macadamia nuts around that I chopped up. Taste so great and wonderful for Mother's day.

LOVE these! Great alternative to chocolate chip. My husband is allergic to cocoa (therefore to chocolate) and can't have chocolate chip cookies. I think these are even better!

These were okay to me, but I think I'll just alter my handed down oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe next time I want an oatmeal cranberry cookie. It just didn't have the specialness I was hoping for, though I can't place why.

A satisfying cookie on a multitude of levels! Only change I made was white chips to dark chocolate just because of personal preference. Thanks for sharing...the whole family enjoys!

These cookies are delicious! I didn't have trouble with the dough not coming together, just mixed until everything was incorporated and instead of using a spoon to drop the cookies on the baking sheet, I formed balls by hand and flattened them slightly. Not only is the mix beautiful when layered, but the baked cookies look gourmet! Whether I make these to give as gifts or just to satisfy a cookie craving for my family, they are in our top 5 cookie recipes!
