I followed the recipe exactly except for using homemade cranberry sauce. The texture was gummy, heavy and just too dense to be a enjoyed. The flavor was OK but my husband and I were very disappointed. I think the only thing that made this "bread" something we did not throw out was the homemade cranberry sauce flavor. It needed oil or something to make it more moist... will never make this again.

Good Recipe. I did not use the brand names mentioned in the recipe, but used the flour, sugar, salt, ext. that I had on hand. Instead of 1/2 cup white flour, I used a 1/4 cup white flour and 1/4 cup ground flax. Also put a couple tablespoons of orange juice in. Turned out very well. Not too sweet. I like this recipe and will make it again.
