I've made this a few times now and get rave reviews and lots of requests for the recipe. I substitute the cornflakes with Special K Cinnamon and Pecan cereal.

I didn't have apples so used fresh blueberries that I had frozen; also used oatmeal instead of cornflakes. This was delicious

This recipe really surprised me, especially the cornflake topping. I eyeballed the recipe and wasn't sure it would turn out all that great, but it was delicious! Doubled to topping, as suggested, and omitted the pecans as I had none on hand. Will be making this again!

This dessert is amazing. It's so quick and simple to throw together. I used Cameo apples which aren't very tart, but not overly sweet, either. They worked very well with the cranberries. I halved this recipe and baked in a 1 1/2 qt casserole dish for 35 minutes. This is delicious served warm over vanilla ice cream. Do NOT fear the cornflakes - they're perfect in this recipe - just the right amount of crunchy texture. Thanks for sharing this tasty recipe!

I came across this recipe and thought I would give it a try. I made it yesterday for Thanksgiving. Being here in Alaska, it was just my boyfriend and me. Lance is not a sweet eater, but let me tell ya, he loves this! He ate almost all of it by himself ! Thank you so much for posting this! I will definitely be making this again!

Realllllly good and super easy. I was out of pecans so I replaced with more cornflakes and I used a gala and couple of red delicious apples because I didn't have tart so it was on the sweeter side. I want to try now with the tart apples and pecans!

Fantastic recipe! I was a little unsure about the cornflakes but it turned out awesome! The only thing i did differently is that i cut down the sugar. I used 2 Granny smith apples (tart) and 2 Fuji (sweet) and only 1/4 cup of sugar with the fruit. In the topping i only added 1/4 cup brown sugar instead of 1/2 cup. Next time i would cut the brown sugar down to 1/8 cup because it was still very sweet, but this might just be a personal preference. EXCELLENT! will make again!

This is requested every Thanksgiving. I freeze cranberries in Nov. just to make this later. I also double the topping recipe and use oatmeal.

Very good, but I would double the amount of "crisp" used, as it did not cover the entire dish as is.

I exchanged the cornflakes for rolled oats, added 1/4 tsp cinnamon to the topping and suggest the sugar be decreased. This disappeared quickly at my house! They want more! I only gave it 4 stars because I feel it is a just little too sweet. Thank you to who ever submitted this! I've wanted a good Cranberry recipe for a long time.
