The batter on this was really thick. They came out really dry and were not sweet enough. Maybe buttermilk would work better than the yogurt. I like the idea of cranberry and orange but I will just alter my other recipe for bran muffins instead.

These are fabulous! Moist and delicious. I used regular vanilla yogurt instead of plain. (The leftover yogurt is easier for me to eat.) I think that this added another delicious dimension to it. I also used fresh squeezed orange juice and Post Bran Flakes. LOVE THEM! Will definitely make them again. Thanks so much for a great recipe!

I ama fan of bran muffins but have never made them myself. I love the cranberry/orange flavor. I found that the batter was very dry, almost like bread dough, so I added a bit more OJ. They ended up being very dense, perhaps because of this. Next time I'll bake them without the extra and see if they turn out lighter. I also substituted sugar free honey and used a cranberry and almond mix instead of just cranberries.

Nice flavors. I subbed applesauce for the butter and wished that I hadn't as it gave the muffins that 'rubber bouncy ball' feel/texture to them that's commonly found with lowfat/no-fat baking. Next time, I'll just use the butter as it's a small amount; this is a more healthy muffin recipe anyway. Without changing/subbing ingredients, each muffin is 3 points on Weight Watchers. Very filling, very satisfying. Thanks for posting the recipe!

Great recipe! I made a couple of changes. Used buttermilk in place of yogurt. Used 2 C. all-purpose flour since did not have any wheat flour. Love the orange/cranberry flavor! It's a keeper!

These muffins are great. Because I didn't have enough self-raising/all purpose flour, I used 2 cups wheat flour (the bread making type) and the muffins are still flavorful. I also didn't have any honey and used maple syrup instead. For cereal I used Kellogss All Bran cereal.

So delicious! I love the flavor the orange peel brings, and will make these again very soon. I made a few changes b/c we are on a low fat/calorie diet - instead of butter used apple sauce, and instead of honey I used 1 cup splenda. Was a bit curious to see if they would taste "artificially sweetened" but they were lovely. Super recipe!!

They were pretty good, but mine turned out a bit dry. We normally like muffins with lots of butter or oil, but really enjoy these healthy muffins as much as regular ones.

I think these are the best bran muffins I've ever had. I've always loved the cranberry /orange flavor combo, and it works well with the bran. The only change I made is I substituted 1/4 cup applesauce for the butter because I'm on a low fat meal plan. Hubby loved them too. Will be making again very soon!!

These were above-average for bran muffins. The orange flavor noticeable and pleasant, and the cranberries are an excellent compliment. I increased the amount of orange peal for a richer orange flavor. My only main complaint about these is that they're still pretty dense-par for the course for bran muffins and these most certainly could have been worse. It's a nice way to dress up bran muffins but that's about it.

I like bran muffins, but I don't love them. This is a nice way to dress them up and make them tasty. But they're still bran muffins.

Most bran muffins are either dry or oily, and they generally have a dense, sawdusty texture. Most also have little going for them in the way of flavor. These are tender and moist, and surprisingly light, with a pleasant orange flavor that goes beautifully with the dried cranberries. I made them using Kellog's All-Bran and, because I had no plain yogurt on hand, buttermilk. Will absolutely make again, as they were delicious. My kids even loved them!

Loved 'em - of course, I'm a health nut. These taste even better the next day (take on more flavor). Next time though, I'm adding an extra 1/2 T. orange peel, 'cause I love the orange flavor.
