I loved them. My co workers loved them. My boyfriend loved them. I'm guessing that "9 servings" means 3 cookies for each person, because I had close to 30 cookies by the time I was done (which I was totally cool with - you're gonna want seconds!). I opted for using cocoa rather than chocolate chips and the recipe turned out fabulous. Can't wait to make them again!

I have had these cookies before and loved them. This was my first atempt at making them, though, and I was a little disappointed. I remember these cookies being more chocolaty; but never the less, they were delicious, and my boyfriend's family (who never had them before) loved them! Expectations aside, these were great! Thanks

These cookies turned out great!! Very simple and I had all the ingredients in my pantry. It was also really easy to have 2 small 2 yr old helpers make the cookies. Everyone is raving about them!

Cookie was ok. I remember these being a darker color and more chocolatey. Recipe was very easy and good for just a quick crackle cookie but nothing amazing.

I'm definitely going to need to make them smaller, I made about 19 cookies out of it thinking I made them small enough and they turned out the size of regular cookies and almost baked into 1 large cookie on the sheet and definitely didn't look as good as the picture on here. I'll have to taste them once they cool down (I just took them out of the oven now)

I have a great recipe for these, but thought it be fun to try a new one. The dough was very sticky and hard to work with. The recipe only made 9 cookies, which given the amount of work, was not worth it. They were dry and did not have much flavor. I will go back to my old recipe.

Excellent cookie. Mixes easy and bakes well. Looks pretty. Serving size is not correct. Makes more than 9 servings so be careful if you are going to increase the recipe. I tripled the recipe this last time I made the cookies and wound up with 6 dozen cookies. Good thing I was baking cookies for a party or I would have more cookies on my hands than I would know what to do. Also, last time I used cocoa powder substitution and comes out just as great as melting and cooling chocolate. Just follow the exchange advice on your brand of cocoa powder.

When I made the dough, I thought something was wrong because with 1/2 cup flour, it was more like cake batter, but I figured refrigeration would help. It did, but it was still gooey. I had high hopes for these because they look pretty and were going to be for a cookie exchange. I'm glad I tried out the recipe first because they lack flavor. They're not chocolately, though they look it, and they're not all that sweet either. Definitely NOT going to the cookie party - sorry!

this was more like a 3.5 star for me. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but the flavor seemed a bit off or lacking. Also, the texture was not what I was expecting at all. I may try them again, but for now will stick with a different chocolate cookie recipe.
