Here is a light, sweet meringue pie that 's studded with black walnuts. The surprise ingredient is crushed crackers, but when they 're swirled in with the eggs, sugar, and nuts, no one can guess.

This pie is delicious, with or without a filling. I make it with pecans and serve it with whipped topping and one shake of nutmeg on top. Or I make it without pecans and fill with fruit filling such as lemon filling. I use soda crackers, saltines, graham crackers or buttery round crackers, finely crushed

You can whip this pie up in minutes and no one will know it was that easy. Make your favorite instant pudding mix and fold in oodles of whipped topping. That 's it. Spoon into a graham cracker crust, chill and decorate with white chocolate shavings.

The graham cracker crust for this pie is made with brown sugar and cinnamon, lending an extra depth of flavors to this tasty treat. The filling is a simple, but lovely egg custard with a hint of vanilla. Pour it into the shell and chill before serving. Decorate the pie with sprigs of mint and a sprinkling of nutmeg.

This 9x13-inch pie is perfect if you need to feed a crowd. Whole graham crackers are layered and covered with hot chocolate pudding. The heat softens the crackers and by the time the pie 's chilled and ready to serve, it 's taken on a lovely texture and taste.

The lovely chocolate custard filling in this pie is creamy and very chocolaty. It 's cooked in a double boiler until pudding-thick, poured into a baked pastry shell, and slathered with meringue. After six minutes in a hot oven, it 's ready to serve.

For this unique recipe, the crust is made from graham crackers folded into sweetened whipped egg whites and spooned into a pie plate and baked. Then it 's crowned with flavored whipped cream and chopped pecans.

Rich, creamy and very chocolaty, this pie 's ingredients are simmered slowly on the stove until they perfectly blend and the filling is thick and ready to pour into a pie shell. The chocolate custard pie is topped with a glossy meringue and slipped into the oven.

Vinegar Pie I

You'll need your double boiler to cook up the yummy custard filling, because it needs to cook slowly and in stages. Sugar, flour and water are cooked until thick. More sugar and egg yolks are added, followed by butter, lemon extract and vinegar. This velvety filling is poured into a crust and baked.
