I just made these for Christmas Eve. I tested it with my husband. He liked them but thought their was too much seasoning. He likes salty though. So I would only do 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of the seafood seasoning. I also increased the mayonnaise to 1/2 a cup. I had just enough filling for my eggs. I thought they were delicious. I am looking forward to seeing what the family says.

These were okay, but I think we like the traditional deviled eggs much better. I did add a tsp of lemon juice and some paprika to heighten the taste, but it just wasn't right for us.

Sounds wonderful, but please let your unsuspecting guests know ~ I have a child with food allergies and this would be something that could kill someone in a heart beat.

This recipe was a nice variation of the tradional deviled egg recipe. The crab and Old Bay gave the eggs a unique flavor. I loved them but members of my family who love crab a bit less than me said they would have prefered regular deviled eggs.

I whipped these bad boys up and was quite pleased. I tweaked mine a little bit (cajun seasoning instead of Old Bay and I added a little chili sauce for a kick).

Thanks for that recipe!! I served it to my family for Easter and everyone loved it!! I did use a little of both regular and honey dijon mustard along with a little bit of cayenne pepper. i also used imitation crab meat to save some time in the kitchen. I REALLY love this recipe!! I don't have any problems using it again as well as passing it on to ohters that want it. BRAVO!!

Just a note...you may want to let unsuspecting guests know...you never know who may have an allergy to shellfish.

I made them on Christmas. No one liked it in the egg, they thought it would be better as a dip with crackers.
