We made this exactly as written and I loved it! I used Tabasco Chipotle for the hot pepper sauce and I think that it was a much better fit than regular Franks or Tabasco. This made a huge serving and we froze some for another dinner. I can't wait to make this recipe for friends!

Excellent bisque, my family really enjoyed it. Added some shrimp and carrots to the recipe with a little sherry in mix in when swerving.

This was an excellent soup! I used 2 cups fat-free half & half and a cup of chicken broth, and added a couple of tablespoons of Old Bay, celery seed, and Tabasco flavored salt. Really quick, simple, and delicious. Sincere thanks for sharing your recipe, Sherrie!

My family loved it. I used red peppers instead of green and added about two teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning. Sorry, anything with crab taste better with Old Bay....its a Maryland thing.

it's a great recipe, however one mistake i made was using imitation crab meat, i would use real crab meat, it would turn out much better that way, however i do also like the chunks of crab

Very good, very simple. Needed a little more kick so i added diced red pepper and some ground pepper on top. Definitely a crowd pleaser.
