My husband and I were very pleased with this quiche. This was the first quiche I have ever made. With my grandmothers handed down pastry crust and this quiche I am sure to make this one again. Thank you for a good first time quiche.

A little dense for my liking, but good easy recipe. I did use more milk and cut back on the onions, I think it was the thyme that really gave it a different flavor, nice.

Excellent Recipe! Everyone loved it, even those who did not really know what quiche was.

We modified this recipe to use some veggies we had in the fridge. I only had 4 eggs so this is how I came across this recipe. It's a little denser than the normal quiche I make. We liked it and will more than likely use it again. If you are looking for a custard like quiche this is not the recipe for you. We used ham, spinach, and mushrooms to replace the bacon and onion since this is what I had on hand. The basics of this recipe allow you to have some flexibility with the recipe.

Wonderful recipe. I made the dish for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. We keep the dish in the oven for 45 minutes. The recipe for 6 servings doesn't fill a traditional pie fully. We put in 1 more egg and a splash of milk to help even out the top.

I liked this quiche a lot I changed it a tad I used Monterey Jack and blue cheese. It had really nice flavor and it was even better the next day heated up. I also took another reviewers advice and baked the crust a little first.

An easy quiche recipe. I added half and half and more milk than called for to fill up the pie pan. Easy to play with the recipe and add what you prefer.

Recipe was good, but not great. The quiche was a bit dense, so I would follow others' recommendations and increase the amount of milk or half and half a bit. I also felt the amount of bacon called for was a bit too much, and more cheese could have been added as well.

This is a great dish and my family loves it. I have substituted the ham for bacon, and have added a variety of veggies. It is a quick and easy dinner.

I tried this recipe because the boyfriend doesnt really like fluffy quiches, which this def is not. It's more hearty. I like them fluffy, but if I want quiche (which I want it often) I end up making it this way so I can satisfy my craving. I did this twice. The first time I didn't have enough mozzarella but subbed with extra cheddar. No flour. Used a little more milk and an extra 2 eggs because it was a deep dish pie plate. I use the Pillsbury roll-out pie dough. (They come in a 2-pack and are easily frozen/thawed.) Plus they taste so much better than pre-baked shells and save a lot of time. The second time I didn't add the spices and I think I liked it better without. Also, this is great with pepperjack but if we don't have any, I chop up some jalapeno for some kick. Great recipe.

I used 4 slices of bacon instead of 8, a little more milk & didn't use any mozarella as I didn't have any. It turned out really well; very tasty!

SO yummy! I added about a 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese and and 1/2 cup of chopped brocolli. I also made these in tart shells rather than a pie shell. It filled 15.

I wish I could give this 4 1/2 stars. The only thing I didn't care for, which was my own fault, was the onion. Next time I'll dice them much, much smaller, and decrease the amount a bit. I only had a big onion, so I only used half of it, and it was still really strong in the dish. Other than that, FAB!
