I have been looking for a recipe like this for some time. My aunt who was from germany, used to make stuffing balls that used left over mashed potatoes and she cooked them in a cup cake pan. This is very close and very good.

I made this recipe for Christmas dinner. I wanted something different than the regular mashed potatoes everyone "has" to have at Christmas dinner. It was a tremendous hit! Everyone loved it. My husband loves to make his own mashed potatoes every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving, but he was pleasantly surprised at this new recipe. Maybe a new family tradition!

Talk about a carb overload! But I love it. Very good. I didn't have celery, so I just ground some celery seed and popped it in. The onions still gave it a nice little crunch. I may have used more mashed potatoes that it called for--I just made a batch and dumped it all in bc I'm rebellious that way and don't like to measure. I took the covering off for about 10 min at the end to let it crisp a bit on top. Thanks for the recipe!

This was pretty tasty. My husband said it was the best of both worlds all combined into one dish. I will be making this for our Easter dinner now, thanks for sharing.

I made this at thanksgiving, and got huge reviews! I did make a larger recipe as I wanted to stuff a large bird! The only thing I ommitted was the nutmag! Am definetly making again at christmas
