Not particularly flavorful, but easy to make with ingredients that are always on hand. The texture is nice, and it cut very well. Next time I might add some jalapenos and cheese to spice it up.

My 10 year-old son made this recipe. It was easy and turned out pretty well, though it was a little crumbly. We'll add more sugar next time to suit our family's taste. Overall, it's a very simple recipe that turns out pretty well. Not my favorite corn bread, but it'll do in a pinch. We'll make it again in the future.

I tried 4 other cornbread recipes and this was the best. I made 14 of them for a church luncheon and everyone raved about them. I followed the directions exactly as described.
