This is very good. This is a huge hit at our family brunches. I have also made this with vegetarian sausage and it was just as good.

This is a good recipe. I added a layer of fried potatoes on the bottom then put the sausage on top of that along with the egg & bread on top. The guys at worked loved it.

I took this dish to a teacher breakfast and it was quickly gobbled up! I did, however, make some changes. I used vidalia onion instead of green (personal preference), used half skim/half buttermilk, and I left the bread completely off until right before the casserole goes in the oven. It gives it a nice toasty crunch. The spices in the gravy mix make this an outstanding dish!

Good. Seemed like too much sausage and not enough onion to me. I was expecting the gravy part to be weird but it wasn't. I will make this again and just do a little adjusting (green pepper would also be good).

My son needed something to bring to school for a teacher appreciation breakfast and we made this the night before, refrigerated it and then heated it up in the morning. Every teacher at the high school asked for the recipe. It was a big hit. Excellent!

I just don't understand the who reviewers didn't like it. My boyfriend and I made it and it was awesome. You could add different ingredients to suit taste but it is definately a sunday tradition now at our house.

I made this last night and didn't really change a thing. I think that it would of been good on it's own, but we made additional sausage gravy from scratch and poured over the top. YUMMY!

When looking at the ingredients it seemed as though it would be flavorful. The only change I made was used O'Brian potatoes instead of the bread to top the dish. I even added seasoning to the potatoes before I baked it. It was quite bland, the gravy did nothing for the overall dish and seemed kind of pointless. I made it this morning for a sleepover and no one liked it.

I loved this casserole. The taste reminded me a bit of sausage stuffing so next time I'll try making it with hashbrowns instead of bread, as others have tried. We topped it with some hot sauce for a little extra kick!

Absolutely LOVED this recipe! All the flavors go together so nicely! Used 1 more green onion, spicy sausage, left out paprika. I did use an 8 pack of Grands biscuits and put them on top to cook, but had to turn them after 20 minutes so the bottoms could get cooked. Next time I will pre-bake the biscuits, or just use leftover biscuits. Had to bake longer than 40 minutes..more like 50.

This is an excellent recipe! I loved how easy it was and it was a hit at an office party. I did not put toast on top. I laid a can of crescent rolls on top. It came out beautifully. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Wonderful was a big hit. I thought it needed a little something else to it though, maybe more onions or green peppers. Will definately make again

Excellente! Even kids ate it up! I needed to use some things up so I dressed it up a bit. First I used 2 packages of turkey sausage and added some seasonings and put it in a 9 by 13. Then I put 6 green onions on top. I then sauteed red & yellow bell pepper and mushrooms. I didn't have 6 eggs-used 4. I made my own gravy from scratch and I used mozzarella and parmesan. I broke up hashbrown patties on top and wah lah. It was wonderful! I Served it with an easy fruit salad and homeade orange julius.

Wow this was a hit! I had to make copies of the recipe for everyone. I make a lot of breakfast recipes and this one is excellent!!! If you like a little kick, use hot sausage, it's great! Otherwise it's great just as is...needs no changes!

I followed the recipe precisely. Turned out nice...I had to bake it longer than the recipe said. I thought it was pretty tasty.. husband isn't real fond of any breakfast casserole, so I can't go by his comments. He ate it.... I will make this again! Thanks for the recipe!
