FABULOUS! I doubled the recipe and used a 9 x 13 size glass dish. No surprises in this dish except how good it was. It came out layered, not soggy. Thanks for the great recipe!!! Delicious with homemade Salsa.

Thank you Kristin for a great morning casserole!! The only change I made was I used shredded hash browns for the topping as others suggested. My husband and I thought it was excellent. Leftovers were easily warmed in the microwave for 2 more days!! I think next time I might add some chopped broccoli. Thanks again!!

Made this for Father's Day and was a huge hit. I did prepare it the night before and still came out great. I also used hasbrowns instead of bread and was fabulous

I was a little worried about using the gravy packet, because I'm not a gravy fan, but it really gave this casserole a kick! Upon suggestion of others, I used shredded hash browns on top, which turned out great.

Very good. I used english muffins instead of bread, switched the water and milk and added hash browns on top.

I'm always looking for new recipes for weekend company. I think I've found another winner! I made this for my family and they loved it. The only thing I changed was to use tator tot crowns on the top. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

This recipe is excellent! I did tweak a bit. I made with Sage Sausage and Hash Browns instead of bread. Might try onions and peppers next time. Will make this again. Also freezes well.

Found this in my recipe box one night when I was desperate for something quick and easy and I didn't have anything thawed. While I did make some changes out of necessity (used what I had on hand) it turned out perfect, and has become a favorite in my house for a quick and easy supper. The only changes I made were: Since I was out of bulk sausage, I sliced thin some smoked link sausage and put it in the oven to brown, and I used old fashioned red rind hoop cheese. Otherwise, I didn't change a thing. I served it with baked spicy potato wedges and a tossed salad (fruit salad would have been better). Even my picky granddaughter asked for seconds. Best and easiest breakfast casserole I've ever tried.

This makes a good, hearty breakfast. Instead of bread, I used fried grated potato and onion for the topping.

Followed recipe exactly, except I assembled it the night before and baked it in the morning. I had to extend the baking time by 20 minutes or so. To me, something was just not right. Didn't like the flavor. Husband wouldn't even try it. I think if I omitted the bread and tried hashbrowns as other reviews said, it might me ok. But then, you'd have a totally different recipe. I won't attempt this one again.

This recipe was very good and easy to make. I added tater tots instead of bread cubes. You can also get creative and use a variety of cheeses and veggies.

I've made several egg casseroles over the years, and this is one of the easiest and best! We had weekend guests and I tried this for the first time. I began the prep the night before, just adding the egg mixture & bread in the a.m. before baking. I switched the quantities for water and milk, tho. Mine took about 50 min. to bake. Everyone LOVED it. thanks for the recipe!!

This was really easy and completely devoured. I doubled the recipe and cooked it for the same time and temp in a fairly deep 9x13 pan, though my oven runs a little hot. Very good and will make again.

Mmmmmm - this casserole was so good! I picked it from 5 other breakfast casseroles to try and am glad I did. The country gravy powder mixed in with the eggs was a smart idea and gave it so much flavor. Everyone would like this!
