Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb Blend
beef sirloin, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
frozen vegetable medley mix
1 (14.5 ounce) can
salt-free diced tomatoes
Great & easy stew for a weekday when your kids are busy and you have little time. I prepackage 2# bags of stew meat, cut up and freeze them; so this is a natural fit. One twist for you all, I cant get back with 4 servings, my boys eat too much. When I switch the ingredients to 8 cups, it really doesnt cover all the liquid + tomatoes you need. So, add an additional 14 oz can on TOP of the original calling. I add a little salkt-pepper as well, Mrs Dash can only go so far!
Made this the snow day of the 2011 blizzard ;-) I added pearl onions and 4 small diced potatoes. Great flavor, just not enough juice. It will become a staple in our household though. Easy to change it up with the veggies and keep it healthy.
Yummy. I used fresh carrots, potatoes, celery, and onions. I didn't have Mrs. Dash so I improvised with garlic powder and a packet of brown gravy mix . It turned out perfectly. Used my cast iron dutch oven.
MY HUSBAND AND I ENJOYED THIS RECIPE. IT WAS VERY EASY TO MAKE.
