For all the people rating this recipe so low, your problem is that you are expecting a Cosmo. Recipe clearly states it is a Cosmo Martini, so you aren't going to have the same ingredients as a traditional Cosmo. I applaud the creativity and think it's a fine drink. Try it with an open mind, if you expect a Cosmo, you're not going to like it. If you want a Cosmo, find a Cosmo recipe, this is not going to cut it for you. If you are willing to try something new, go for this.

The RIGHT way to make this is with 2 parts vodka; 1 part Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec; juice of half of a lime; and a splash (or more) of cranberry juice!!

This is my favorite drink! But, take it from a bartender; a cosmo is not made with dry vermouth but Grand Marnier or Triple Sec!!! This is a girlie drink, it needs to be sweet.

Yuk! Who puts vermouth in a bona fide Cosmopolitan! I've never been served a Cosmopolitan made this way.

Very smooth and a nice change from a traditional martini. Especially festive for the holiday season.
