This recipe reminds me of my grandmother's squash casserole with green been casserole combined! I think next time I might put yellow squash in it instead of corn to see what it's like.

Different. Not bad at all. Just not good enough for me to make again.

Great! A nice change from the plain green bean casserole!

I doubled the recipe and the sour cream did over power a lil, I used fresh canned green beans and white corn from our garden so I may have under salted, but the sour cream taste was too strong for my taste. But will try again!!

For anyone who considers this dish bland, try using Cream of Chicken soup which has a bit more flavor.

This was great! I usually dont have corn on me, I'll have a bag of mixed frozed vegetables and it works out good. Sometimes I have cream of mushroom and thats good too.

We made this recipe for Thanksgiving and it was very bland. There was little flavor and hardly anyone ate it. We were hoping to find a non-traditional green bean casserole that was very tasty, but this ended up tasting worse. I am sorry to have to write this review, but when both of the other reviews have high marks, I felt I needed to save others from bothering.

We have a winner, my husband, who is not a veggie person, loved this, I used Cream of Mushroom soup instead, its what I had on hand and it was perfect.

I added some variation to this recipe by using cream of mushroom, omitting the sour cream because there wasn't any in the house, and adding some shredded mozzarella cheese. Yum! It was really good and the corn gave it a nice texture. I'm thinking maybe next time of trying this recipe with some crumbled bacon as well. It was a nice variation from the usual boring casserole.
