"This is a very refreshing drink my mother made for me a lot when I was a child. It may seem a little strange, but if you like cantaloupe, try it! Great on a hot summer day!"
Hmm. None of these ingredients are on sale today.

cantaloupe, halved and seeded
white sugar, or more to taste
cold water, or more as needed
I wanted to wait until a really hot day to make this. It was so refreshing and the taste was amazing. I didn't like the chunks of cantaloupe in the drink so I might strain the drink next time and drink just the juice.
Delishhh!!! We used to make this also. It is definitely good and refreshing on hot summer days!!!
It was GREAT.......... It mostly depends on the kind of cantaloupe you have... Sweet or ripe>>> I tried 1 cup of water and 1 cup of ice....... But the ice did not really crush! But it was great! :)
Amazing fresh! My husband love it....
