this was wonderful my family loved it! I didn't have green beans so I substituted 1 can of navy beans and I used fresh mushrooms and just sauted them with the garlic. I also added some dried parsley for color. I will deffinately make this again

A great rice dish. The amount of garlic was a bit overpowering for my taste so i'll add less next time, but i'll definately make it again and often!

Excellent way to cook rice!! I really enjoyed this dish!! This dish is considered a meal by itself, but would go great with fried chicken or barbecue chicken. This is another way to season your rice without using salt. Thank you very much!! Great job!!

This is a delious way to make rice. My husband and I both decided this was a keeper. I made it without the green beans as I did not have it on hand. I served it with a red wine steak dish. Amazing is all can say. You must try it. I am going to get the green beans and try it again with fresh mushrooms.

I thought this was great. I made quite a few changes, but the basic idea was the same. I used brown rice instead of white, I used onion soup that I had cooked chicken breast in my slow cooker with, and I used peas instead of beans. I topped the dish with the chicken cooked in the slow cooker pulled apart into big chunks. It was a great all-in-one dish that left the plates clean.

Very fast, easy and good! I made the recipe pretty much as written, except I used regular (non-french) green beans, and didn't really measure anything except for the rice and the broth.

This was easy and tasted great. On a day when my pantry is getting short of special ingredients and all I have are the basics, this is an easy side-item to whip together. The leftovers are good too.

I changed this up a bit to accomodate what I had but I am grading it based on what is here. The basil added a nice touch and the butter made for a creamy texture. Loved it. (I used regular brown rice, fresh mushrooms, 1/2 c onion, once stick of celery, mixed veggies and bouillion cubes. It was FABULOUS. Sauteed the onion and garlic first. Added and sauteed basil and celery. Added water and cubes, brought to boil and added rice. When rice was just short of being done added mushrooms and frzn veggies and cooked until done.)
