This is the best corn muffin recipe I've tried so far. They're nice an moist and just right in sweetness & texture. Plus, they're very easy to prepare. Good for breakfast or for a dinner side. I will definitely make these again.

The best!! My son told me not to bother trying any other corn muffin recipe, because these are the best! I am done searching for our perfect corn muffin recipe thanks to this recipe.

Love these. You can smell the buttermilk as they cook, reminds me of the ones my grandmother used to make. Also, as other reviewers have said, they don't crumble. Eat em while they are hot with a little butter and corn syrup - HEAVEN!!!

Very good! Maybe a little sweet and I will likely cut that back next batch. I added a bit of nutmeg and vanilla - so good! I subbed 3/4 cup of soy sour cream mixed with 1/4 cup soy milk for the buttermilk. Worked out just fine.

Yum. I made these muffins for a cookout at my club. They were just sweet enough and moist. I used Splenda instead of regular white sugar and Splenda brown sugar. I will definately make this recipe again!

I have been searching and searching for a good corn muffin recipe and I think I have found it! I love the crispyness of the outside of the muffins and the unique sweetness from the brown sugar. Delicious!

I made one change and that was using melted butter instead of vegetable oil. The flavor of these muffins was absolutely one of the best muffin/cornbread recipes I've ever had BUT the one issue I had was it came out dry. I'm not sure if I overbaked them or if it needs a little more liquid. I'd like to try these again with another quarter cup of buttermilk or cut back the baking time by a couple minutes and see how they turn out. It's definitely worth trying again. Like I said, the flavor was one of the best cornbreads I've ever had.
