I was very unimpressed by this recipe. I was hoping for a good marinade for my steaks but this one is not going to be it. I didn't change anything and I did not like the flavor at all. My husband thought it was ok but not great.

I followed suggestions and added about half the soy sauce and marinated steaks for 30 hours. I used two end cut rib steaks that had been overly dry-aged on the hanging beef. The marinade brought them back to life. The flavor is good, and you can't easily discern the ingredients. Went well with Sugar Snap Peas recipe from this site.

I used this marinade for stew meat. I floured and browned the meat. Oh my goodness! the meat tasted fantastic and the tough stew meat was very tender. I will use this over and over.

Delicious! You would never guess there is coffee in this, and I even used espresso. I didn't have sesame seeds and I cut the soy sauce down to 1/2 cup. I have never eaten an entire steak before, but this NY strip was so good I ate it all!

I made this on a gas grill with KC Strips. It was delicious. Very moist and tender. I'll definitely be repeating this to impress friends.

I'm giving it five stars because my husband RAVED about it, and my four year old inhaled it. I, on the other hand, didn't care for it. At all.

Used London Broil and was only able to marinate it for 4 hrs. Even just half the recommended time, the flavor was wonderful, and a normally tough cut of meat was super tender. I broiled it in the oven for about 15 min. per side, and it was done just about right. Will definitely make again, this time with a bit less soy sauce.
