We let it marinade for about 36 hours. It was very good and we would definitely eat it again. Not something to eat on a regular basis, but something new to try!

I was hesitant to try because of the coffee, but was pleasantly surprised with this recipe. I only used 1/4 - 1/3 of the soy sauce based on other reviewer's comments. I used a very lean cut of steak and it can sometimes turn out tough, but with this marinade it was tender and flavorful. Will definitely use this again!

This was a very flavorful recipe. Just like other reviewers this is the only steak i make besides Bobby Flay's steak recipes.

The steak was tasty and rich, but I agree with another reviewer that there was too much soy sauce in it, and the beef turned out really salty. I used light soy sauce, which is lighter in color than dark soy sauce, but saltier. I might try dark soy sauce the next time, or add less light soy sauce.

tender and juicy like you wouldn't believe, just a smidge too salty for my taste buds. I'd cut down on one of the more salty ingredients (which ever one it is), but just to suit my tastes. Otherwise, just a wonderful recipe!

My husband and I loved this recipe. The coffee flavor is very warm and romantic. I confess, I didn't measure any of it, just eyeballed. I cooked the steak in a pan and used the reserved marinade to deglaze. It came out perfect. We will be making this again!

This was really flavorful, and left the meat so tender, but I was left with a strong after-taste of soy sauce. My husband loved it, and it smelled delicious cooking, but it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I might try to make this again, but with way less soy sauce.

This was so tasty. I used NY strips and marinated for 24 hours. I hate the outter fat on meat, but this recipe dissolved it overnight. I'm making it again with t-bones and I am going to freeze 2 steaks for later (after they've marinated). YUM.

WOW! I marinated these for a full 24 hours and couldn't be more impressed. My steaks turned out wonderfully juicy and absolutely delicious. No one was able to guess the secret ingredient was coffee - this one is a real winner!

How different and delicious. Hubby couldn't figure out the secret ingredient and was amazed it was coffee. Marinated around 9 hours (used London Broil because that is what I had) and the meat was very tender. This will become a regular in our house.

I was VERY afraid to make this recipie - simply bec. of the coffee, but I'm soooo glad I took the chance! It truly was wonderful. I had a really tough piece of meat which I cut in half & made one half with this marinade & the other with a different marinade recipie. This one was the best. I ended up marinating it for abt. 24 hours, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but compared to the other piece, this was sooo much more tender & juicy. I did things slightly different - I omitted the seeds & the worchester sauce (didn't have any). Also, I didn't know how "strong" strong coffee was supposed to be, so I used left-over Jamaican Blue Mtn. coffee (about a cup).I also didn't measure anything - just "eyeballed it" & it still came out fantastic!(whew!) A great recipie - thanks for sharing!

This made the meat nice and tender, but the coffee was a bit overwhelming. My husband had no idea that there was coffee in it, though, so it may just be a preference. I enjoyed the change. Thank you!

This was wonderful! We have steak quite often and this will be a regular in our rotation now. My hubby is a big coffee fan, so he was excited. I don't drink coffee myself, but loved the steak. It was a very rich tasting steak, and if you didn't know there was coffee involved, I don't think you would guess it. Wouldn't change a thing about the recipe. Thanks!
