About  scaling  and  conversions

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 5 cubes ice

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, instant coffee and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

I thought this was very tastey, was able to use decaf coffee for the kids, you could add caramel or chocolate syrup to give it a different taste when needed, or leave as is, great treat on a hot summers day!. Thanks Lucy for the recipe. BTW used crushed ice, if you are able to.... will blend nicer.

tastes great, but blending ice can sometimes be a pain if you don't have a nice blender.

Tastes amazing, and it was very easy. My only problem was that when i scaled the recepie to 1, it only made about 4 ounces.
