very good recipe! i made this for my daughter's bday and a coworker's bday. both times i made a 9x13 sheet layer cake with angel's food cake on top and devil's food cake on the bottom. i used 2 cans of coco lopez on the top layer and 1 can on the bottom layer. i soaked the cakes while they were still warm from the oven. i omitted the condensed milk based on what other reviewers said about it being too sweet. then i refrigerated cakes overnight, and frosted them with a cream cheese frosting recipe that i found on barefoot contessa's site. topped the cake with toasted flaked coconut and decorated with fresh flowers! everybody raved about the cake! try it, you will not be disappointed. thank you for sharing this recipe!
