Delicious and easy to make. I did hand whip the egg whites with a dash of cream of tartar, sugar and extracts before adding to the dry. I also substituted a little bit of ground almonds because I didn't have enough coconut. Yummy! Thank you for sharing this great recipe.

these turned out great!! I used gluten free flour and a little bit more than called for organic flaked coconut, this is an awesome simple recipe!! Thanks!!

Wonderful Macaroons. Made them several times. To make them gluten free, just substitute corn starch for the flour. The corn starch ones actually came out better than the flour ones!

Yummm! Texture is perfect and SO easy! First time I made, they lacked something in flavor, a little bland. Tried again with a pinch more salt and mixed the vanilla and touch of almond in with the egg whites, was much better. Take care to grease the cookie sheet very lightly so as to not overbrown the bottom of the cookie and don't overcook them! 18 minutes exactly was a charm for mine. Chocolate adds the finishing touch that really takes them to the next level.

Taste is great, texture is off. Like other reviewers I added 1/2 tsp of almond extract. Like I said, very tasty but the texture was more cookie like than macaroon like.

These are the best macaroons I've ever tasted. My boyfriend, who is very picky, loved them and said they were the best macaroons he's ever had too. I used arrowroot powder instead of flour and were still amazing.
