Fantastic! You will not be disappointed! Use room temperature ingredients to make mixing easier.

very good both with the pecans and without (if you leave them out, increase the coconut until the consistency seems right.) i like them coated with dark chocolate instead of semi sweet- dark chocolate and coconut is great combination! it makes SOOO many candies, though. i usually only get through about 2/3 of the filling before i'm sick of rolling balls.

My children have made these 2 years in a row for holiday gifts. They have so much fun and the look of joy they see in the faces of their friends and family is priceless. But it does take a little effort to make sure all the ingredients are well blended, but the end result is well worth it!

I have to make these every Christmas, and have for the past 25+ years. Make sure everything is room temp before you start mixing. It's a little work but well worth the effort to mix. Once you have them mixed well, they are not dry at all.

I made a few changes apx changes that is......I used 1 lb confectioner's sugar not 2 lbs......16 oz chocolate not 2 cups.... I also added cream to my chocolate, apx 1 to 3 ratio, cream and chocolate. The original recipe was very dry, so as you cream the butter and sugar adjust acordingly...These are very GOOD and so worth the adjustments.

I did not like this recipe. It was to dry. Was really hard to make the balls because the mixture keept falling apart. Also would have ben better to cut the recipe in half becase it makes tons of balls. I was really disapointed.
