Everyone loved these cookies! They taste much better than any regular chocolate chip cookie I've made recently. I used 2 1/2 cups flour instead of 3 (I'm no baker, so I don't know if that even made a difference, 3 cups just seemed like a lot of flour) We only had half a bag of chocolate chips, but it seemed to be plenty. I also chopped up some heresy kisses (some kind with a melt away center) and tossed those in there. Delicious! =)

Delicious. Mine made more cookies than the recipe stated (assuming 51 servings is 51 cookies), needed 11 minutes to bake on the middle rack of the oven, and needed to go in the fridge for a while before rolling the balls as the dough was too soft and sticky to manage. The taste when done was great, though, and they had that crispy on the edges, soft in the middle texture that I love. Thanks!

These are tasty cake-like cookies. I used chopped up Snickers bars instead of chocolate chips. The chocolate pudding creates a strange batter color, but the end result looks good. Contrary to what other reviewers said, I found they did not bake in 8 minutes and left them in the oven for more like 11 - 12 minutes.

Wow, they are so easy and fast to make and truly delicious! I used apple sauce instead of vegetable oil (less calories) and they still turned out wonderful. My new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe! Thanks for sharing.

Way too salty and oily! I think problem #1 is that the pudding mix has its own salt in it. The pudding mix also gave a grittiness to the cookies (as well as a moist consistency, the only aspect I liked). I will stick to more traditional chocolate chip cookie recipes from now on.

These are absolutely fantastic! I baked as directed and had no problems at all. I suggest using a mini cupcake scooper - makes the perfect sized cookie...fast. Thanks so much for sharing. Everyone at work loved them.

Great Recipe! I made these for some friends and they keep asking me to make more. These are the perfect cookies! When I mixed the dough I put in fairly course salt and that made it even better, the burst of salt with the sweet cookie combined to make an amazing contrast of flavor. I undercooked one batch, so instead of eating them alone, I put them over vanilla ice cream and that stiffened them up and made them taste great.

Delicious!! I had to cook these for about 10 minutes longer than the directions stated because I own a conventional oven and I bake on silicone. However, I made 2 trays of these for a family gathering and they could not stop eating them!! I had some dough left and they made me bake those too to take them home. Excellent!!

We decreased the white flour by half and used wheat flour. Also, I only had sugar free pudding so we used that instead. These cookie were moist and very milk chocolaty. In the future I would add a little vanilla and maybe a tablespoon of cocoa powder. Be warned they really don't look cooked. I cooked mine the full 11 minutes and they were perfect.

I usually don't make anything without at least 50 reviews, but I craved chocolate and went ahead with this one. It turned out amazing - the closest thing a cookie can get to lava cake. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic! These cookies look underdone when it's time to pull them out but don't undercook them. They settle beautifully and they are slightly crispy on the outside chewy on the inside. My new favorite chocolate fix!

The cookies were wonderful. These were the first cookies I have made that were gone fast and no one "had" to eat the few last cookies. Make sure you don't over bake them as the edges will be very crunchy. I might just skip making regular chocolate chip cookies and make these instead.

Amazing, simply amazing. All my family that did 'quality control' on my cookies enjoyed it, and I'm sure the people I'm giving them to as Christmas presents will love them too. NOTE: When you add the eggs to the pudding mixture (step 1) there will be different colours now in the mix. Don't be alarmed, it's just a reaction to the eggs. I, however, freaked out, went to buy new eggs and mix, redid the other parts, and broke the eggs first into another bowl. They were fine, and then I poured it into the mix... and there were the different colours again. I won't be making that mistake when I make this recipe next!
