These were a big hit! I used GFS frozen meatballs with their canned chili sauce (great value if making as many as I did- 10lbs!). They were just the right amount of sweet and savory. I should have put them on high in the crockpot to begin with though as I did not mix the sauce first, I just dumped everything in and let it melt together. It took a long time for them to start bubbling... All in all a great recipe for the sauce!

These are much tastier then the meatballs with the grape jelly. These were eaten up quickly and are now requested at family gatherings.

These were great! I followed the recipe as stated, except I made my own chili sauce rather than using a jar. I used "Chili Sauce" from this website. I made the meatballs and sauce ahead of time, put them in the fridge, then threw everything in the Crockpot for 2 hours on low. I think they would be very good with ground too.

I love this recipe! I have used it many, many times over the years and the meatballs literally disappear before your very eyes. I've used cranberry sauce in the recipe and I've used grape jelly in the recipe but cranberry sauce really is the way to go. You can add spices according to your personal taste but this recipe is awesome just the way it is!

Loved this recipe! Actually made a mistake, I used the Srichari chili garlic sauce that I had in the pantry and I halved it since I knew it was spicy. Obviously, the cocktail meatballs were very spicy and once I saw Heinz chili sauce at the grocery store I knew that it was the Heinz that was supposed to be in there. Makes more sense, so that was my bad. But awesome recipe!!

Wasn't sure what chili sauce to buy, so I mixed 50% Heinz chili sauce and 50% spicy thai chili sauce. Awesome!
