Loved them. I didn't used a crockpot though and I used frozen meatballs. I put all ingredients (except meatballs) in a large saucepan until hot then turned down the heat, added the meatballs and simmered until done. Every last bite was gone. Will definitely make these again!

Loved them! I made homemade cranberry sauce (recipe from here I believe...12 oz cranberries, 1 cup orange juice--or 1/2 water 12 orange juice, 1 cup sugar, cook until berries pop, then mashed with potato masher) instead of the nasty canned stuff. Also, instead of chili sauce, I used ketchup with a splash of balsamic vinegar, 1 T garlic powder and 1 t minced onions because all the chili sauce options at my grocery store were chock full of high fructose corn syrup. Because my cranberry sauce comes out so thick, I added a cup of water to the simmering step. I also left out the brown sugar since I used brown sugar in my cranberry sauce. The meatballs turned out amazing! My mom, the best cook ever, loved them. Thank you to the recipe author for the inspiration!

I made these for our New Year's Eve party and everyone liked them. I used pre-cooked frozen meatballs. I don't eat meat so didn't try them myself, but the sauce was good! The cranberry sauce is a nice, tangy change from the grape jelly that you usually see in this type of recipe.

Delicious! Used frozen mini meatballs and a package of cocktail hot dogs. Needed to add a bit more of the sauce ingredients since I had so much meat. But YUMMY! Served for New Year's Eve--10 people devoured them in a couple hours.

I liked the use of cranberry sauce better than the grape jelly recipe I tried once before. However, meatballs of this type still just don't wow me. My boyfriend enjoyed them more than I did. I guess it's all a matter of taste...

I can't say why exactly, but these just were not great. Served these along with 3 other appetizers, and the guests raved about everthing else but this. I didn't like them at all.

Yummy! I followed reviewer's suggestions of doubling the sauce (since the cranberry comes in 16oz cans) and ended up doubling the meatballs as well. The meatballs were kind of time consuming to roll up, but definitely worth it in the end. I made these for a New Year's Eve party and by New Years Day they were gone:). Next time I think I will still double the sauce, but put in a little less cranberry. It was tangy, but a tiny bit too sweet for moi.

I found these to be too sweet and the sauce was too thick for my liking. Husband thought they were "so so".

I hate to admit this - but I used store bought meatballs, but the sauce from this recipe. Put it all in the slow cooker in the morning and they were perfect when the guests arrived. This will be my new meatball appetizer recipe - everyone loved it!
