Loved them!
I made homemade cranberry sauce (recipe from here I believe...12 oz cranberries, 1 cup orange juice--or 1/2 water 12 orange juice, 1 cup sugar, cook until berries pop, then mashed with potato masher) instead of the nasty canned stuff.
Also, instead of chili sauce, I used ketchup with a splash of balsamic vinegar, 1 T garlic powder and 1 t minced onions because all the chili sauce options at my grocery store were chock full of high fructose corn syrup.
Because my cranberry sauce comes out so thick, I added a cup of water to the simmering step. I also left out the brown sugar since I used brown sugar in my cranberry sauce.
The meatballs turned out amazing! My mom, the best cook ever, loved them.
