Sauce was super easy. I cheated and used frozen meatballs. Did everything in the crockpot and the meatballs were ready in an hour and a half.

My friends have been in love with this recipe ever since I made it for one of my holiday parties. It is now to the point where they ask if I am going to have "the" meatballs at any of my get-togethers. crazy! Thanks!

My husband and older daughter liked it but I and my younger daughter really weren't pleased with this recipe. I used "Chili Sauce" from AR to replace the bottled stuff. Also after tasting the final product, I added about 1/2 cup of apricot preserve to make the sauce sweeter. Served over rice.

Just so-so for us. As others have said, the meatballs alone are bland. To me, the sauce is really lacking flavor. I'm not sure what it needs, but the combo of the two is really unexciting. Probably will not make again.

I made this recipe and it was so hot that the flavor of the chili sauce was overbearing. I used the chili sauce in the asian aisle with the rooster. Am I missing something??

Sensational. I have yet to serve these to guests (they're coming tomorrow), but my husband and I tried a couple of these and we love them. He could not find regular chile sauce at our grocery store, so he came home with chile/garlic and it was rather good. I made the recipe as quoted, put the meatballs in their sauce in a casserole dish into the fridge and plan to reheat in the oven. I'm looking forward to hearing what my guests have to say. Excellent recipe for cocktail/appetizer party.

I made these for a party last night. They were very easy to make and were well received. Without the sauce the meatballs are bland, so keep in mind, the sauce is everything. Or simply add some spice to the balls for use in another dish.

I was skeptical of the cranberry sauce, but this is very good. I think I even like it better than the old standby of grape jelly and chili sauce. I buy a bag of frozen meatballs from Costco, as I'm too lazy to make them from scratch. They are very good, everyone loves them!

Husband cannot get ENOUGH! I used frozen meatballs, but made the sauce - which is incredible. You will need 2x the sauce, but its worth it. I just threw it all in the crock pot and let it go for a few hours... yummmmm.

Even easier - use frozen meatballs (4 lbs) , bake them a bit to brown and get rid of some grease, add 1 12oz jar chili sauce (heinz) and 1 16 oz cranberry sauce jellied. YUM!

This recipe is pretty good but it isn't the best one out there. I may attempt it again with a few alterations.

I used turkey. I loved them. My husband didn't care for them, but a double batch at my party was gone before the night was over.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Surprisingly, I like the cranberry jelly much better than grape. These were a welcome addition to our neighborhood Halloween potluck. BTW, I was out of brown sugar, so substituted regular. No problem.

These were easy to make and my family liked them very well. The measurements are a little awkward because you use 2/3 of a can of canberry sauce, but other than that, the recipe is great. Thanks!
