In this easy appetizer, much of the flavor comes from the meatballs rather than the accompanying piquant sauce -they 're enriched with real cream and savory onion-soup mix.

Everybody loves meatballs at parties, and this recipe won't let you down! Seasoned beef meatballs are simmered in a sweet and spicy sauce. You can also use ground venison instead of the ground beef.

These tasty meatballs will disappear quickly from anyone's holiday party. My mom makes them every year for New Years Eve, and now so do I. These do very well in a slow cooker, as you can simmer them before serving, as well as keep them hot for the duration of your party.

Homemade meatballs made from beef, onion, oatmeal, evaporated milk, and egg, and glazed with a homemade barbecue sauce made with ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, and liquid smoke. Best meatballs I ever tasted. Everyone asks for this recipe.

When we entertain friends for Sunday dinner, I frequently serve these tangy meatballs. Everyone loves the distinctive sauce, but they're often surprised to learn it is made with gingernsaps. -Melody Mellinger, Myerstown, Pennsylvania
