These were delicious, but I thought the frosting was a little too sweet. (The kids thought it was great.) Next time, I'll half the frosting and coat them more lightly or use less sugar.

I actually modified the recipe to make a cinnabon/cinnamelt hybrid. Instead of making rolls, I took pieces of the bread, rolled it in the cinnamon and sugar and put numerous pieces into a muffin cup so they were like pull aparts. I used the exact same frosting recipe with no modifications. My family loved them!

These are amazing. I've made them twice and my family eats the whole pan in a day. I like them better than cinnabon because I made them!

I didn't use a bread machine, but these were awesome. I made a batch for my parents' Sunday School class and had people waiting outside the door for class to end so they could get one.

Well the old man was on a roll tonight and made my first batch of cinnamon rolls and only screwed up once! Mixed up the dough in the Kitchen aid and let it double in size and punched it down, rolled it out and then couldn't figure out why I had so much if the filling??!! After I finally got the dough cut and in the greased pan and then realized I had added the cream cheese to the filling! I went ahead and baked them at 350 for 20 minutes and frosted them (I doubled the frosting) and tried one when they cooled a little. Gee but it tasted great! Not exactly like a Cinnabon but close enough for me. I'll make these again but make then the right way next time. Just another senior moment. 8^) ****UPDATE**** 12 hours later! 3 other people came by and I forced Cinnabons on to them (can't eat them by my self!)and they liked the cream cheese in the filling! I'll try the correct method once before doing the cream cheese in the filling trick again though!

I made this and they turned out well. I followed the instructions exactly but think I may have overcooked them by a minute or two. They were really good but not great. I'd rather buy my cinnamon rolls from a reputable bakery and save myself the work, and I love to bake!

AWESOME RECIPE! No problems or alterations at all. I used a bread machine that my mom has had for years that she has never used. As long as you follow the directions, you cannot mess up. The secret to baking is precision. One problem I ran into was cutting.. make sure to have a good knife when cutting dough! Icing was to die for.

Fantastic! I made them in the evening and put them in the fridge overnight. Then I let them sit out for 30 minutes before I put them in the oven. Worked like a charm, they rose both overnight and again before they went in the oven, probably tripled from when I first put them in the pan. I reduced the sugar by about 1/3 and they were still sweet but I might do a little more next time as I like them really sweet.

These definately taste delicious but I've had the same problem as some- the buns in the middle of my pain turn out "doughy". I just read a review by someone about lowering the temp to 325 and leaving them longer to avoid the doughy results so i will try that next time. (In fairness, the outer buns in my pan really did taste like Clones of Cinnabons though!)

Yummy! The taste was really like a real Cinnabon! I loved it. I had a few problems with mine because I did not read the reviews from those who have made them before. I did not use bread flour, or a bread maker. Also I used heavy cream instead of warm milk. The yeast took a very long time to dissolve into the heavy cream (I'm thinking milk would have been better but we never drink milk so I opted for a small carton of heavy cream-really wished milk came in tiny cartons) I used my fingers to incorporate the yeast into the cream/ which was really helpful. My dough did not raise as much as I wanted it to-next time i will use the proper flour and try letting it raise in a warm oven-method. I added tons of cinnamon to the brown sugar. It was really delicious! My only problem with the filling is that it was not gooey like I wanted. Next time I think I will mix the filling with a bit of cream cheese, oil, and butter. I really loved this recipe, and my comments were only meant for those who are novice bakers like myself :) Yummy 5stars!

OMG! I just bought a bread maker just for making pizza dough - now I can't stop making dough!! This recipe is unbelievable - made way more dough than I wanted - should have froze the dough but instead used up all the dough, made the buns a little smaller (about 18), then froze some of the ready made buns - buns and icing (in a separate container) - they freeze really well - warm up in microwave for about 30 seconds and voila!!

These were wonderful, thanks to whoever posted how to make them without a bread machine! Next time I might bake them just a little longer to make them a just a little crisper on the outside so the frosting doesn't make them soggy so soon.
