I made this recipe as directed, with high hopes, but they were VERY small and hard as rocks.

I am a die hard Cinnabon fan, and I can tell you that these are 99.9% similar. I couldn't believe my taste buds. This is as good as it gets.

My family LOVES this recipe! We made a 1/2 batch because I had not been successful at making cinnamon rolls up to this point, by the time they were going into the oven, we were working on the 2nd FULL batch!! Only negative... we consumed 18 cinnamon rolls in less than 24 hours! As suggested by a few reviews 1. for the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture - I mixed both into the softened butter & crumbled over the dough 2.I sliced the first batch w/ dental floss & the second batch with fishing line - this tip was awesome, worked wonderfully!! These are fool proof! I am adding pictures only because I still can't believe I created something so beautiful! My previous attempts at making these have been a complete failure! We made everything exactly according to the recipe! 5 Stars!! Delicious!

All I can say is my family (i.e. parents, aunts, siblings, etc.) all expect me to make these for breakfast when I come to visit. OH MY GOSH are they FABULOUS. I actually found the recipe on kingarthurflour.com who referenced this site. They're great to make the night before and pop right in the over in morning for that fresh cinnabon smell and taste. Whoever you are reading this you must MAKE THEM RIGHT NOW!!! DON'T HESITATE!! You will not regret it and your family, friends or neighbors will thank you!! :-)

Loved this recipe! I used my KitchenAid mixer plus the dough hook to make this recipe. Followed the basic proportion for the dough but decreased the sprinkling sugar and added raisins. I had to leave out the cream cheese because I though I had a bar left in the refrigerator before I started baking and didn't want to run to the supermarket to buy it. I just used powdered sugar diluted in some milk. Turned out really good!!!

I LOVE cinnamon. On everything! So I was surprised to discover that this recipe has too much for my liking. I didn't think that was possible. Now I know that it is. My husband agrees. We love everything else about the rolls, so I will make these again. But I will decrease the cinnamon by half. Maybe they meant teaspoons instead or tablespoons? Also we used bread flour, as the recipe calls for to get that chewy texture. Yum!
