Here's an easy alternative to buying those famous cinnamon rolls in the mall. They taste exactly the same, and the dough is made in the bread machine.

Vanilla pudding mix in the yeast dough gives a sweet, distinctive taste to these bread machine rolls oozing with butter laced with brown sugar and cinnamon. A vanilla-tinged glaze tops them off perfectly.

Your bread machine does the mixing -- all you have to do is roll out the dough, coat it with butter, cinnamon sugar and raisins or walnuts, roll it up and pop them in the oven. A powdered sugar icing seals the deal for these prize-winning rolls.

A bread machine adaptation of an Easter staple, these sweet yeast buns are delicately spiced with orange zest, cinnamon and nutmeg. Try adding raisins or currants for a more fruity taste.

Essence of Bread

This is about as simple as a bread recipe can be. It's great tasting, crusty, yeasty, coarse-textured, satisfying bread. I'm a guy, and I can make this perfect every time. This bread is the exact of opposite of all the other soft, fine-textured, preservative laden, over-priced supermarket breads. It's easiest if you use a stand-type mixer with bread hooks. If you don't have one, buy one. It'll be the most-used appliance in your kitchen, next to the toaster.

Not exactly a blintz, but who cares when it tastes as great and is as fun to make as this layered brunch dish? Blenty of blintzes, indeed!
