2 1/3 cups
dried cavatelli or wagon wheel macaroni
Johnsonville® Italian Mild Sausage Links, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 (24 ounce) jar
Classico® Tomato and Basil pasta sauce
shredded mozzarella cheese
Used mostaccioli, since we had that on hand, a full pound of sausage, a little more sauce, and about a half cup of green peas. Instead of mozzarella, used an 'italian blend' cheese mix. Made an excellent dinner.
Will probably use spicy sausage next time.
It was a little hard to find Italina sausage in San Antonio so I opted out for chicken sausage.
The result turned out good but next time I think I will double up the amount of sauce.
