Very good Sangria. Easy to make. But oh so strong! One cup will leave your head swimming. You may want to cut back on the rum or mix the sangria with ginger ale or Sprite.

Amazing recipe and good year round. Hits you good and hits you fast! Oh, I use Captain Morgan's and Arbor Mist blackberry Merlot, thanks to the suggestion of others.

I made this for a halloween party a couple of weeks ago and within an hour all of this was gone! (I had made 2 pitchers) Using spiced rum and using plenty of oranges made this even better. Make sure you have plenty on hand!!

Amazing! I make this for pretty much every occasion. I have found that it can get a bit "dangerous" without the sprite, but if your friends will have only one glass, I think the full flavor is best without it. As other reviewers have suggested, I use spiced rum, and it's fun to mix up the fruit for different shapes and colors. Rum-soaked cherries are delicious!

I found it a bit too strong for my taste the first time around and so I decreased the rum to a 3/4 cup and doubled the orange juice. I've been using Planter's Punch "Golden" to give me the best flavor. I also find that I have to increase the amount of fruit to prevent it from being "stolen" before the Sangria is finished.

The BEST Sangria! We make this all the time for parties. The rum was too strong so we reduced it to 1 cup, and also served it with Sprite....2/3 Sangria, 1/3 Sprite. Make at least a double batch if you're having company, because this goes fast!

Very potent, but very good! I added a little grand marnier to it as well, but I did add about triple the amount of orange juice (if not more)to mellow it out a bit, as well as a dash of club soda.
